  I have seen Dr Dunn for two pregnancies. The first ended in miscarriage and the second ended in a beautiful baby girl. I conceived naturally and my pregnancies were initially low-risk. We initially chose Dr Dunn for his ‘no gap’ payment. i.e. he only took what our medical insurance paid. This isn’t because he is less qualified or a less desirable OBGYN. Throughout seeing him for the last year and a half, I honestly think he practices for the love of what he does; he cares about his patients and their medical outcomes. I will be going back to him for his amazing medical knowledge, his thorough examination at each appointment, and his surgical skill. He performed a D&C and a C-Section for me. Both of my recovery times were miraculous when compared with other friends or relatives. Even the hospital staff said I was up & about because of the doctor I had chosen. Dr Dunn works incredibly hard. He stays late during the week so working ladies can see him. I could ask as many questions during my appointment until I felt comfortable or assured; my appointment was never cut short because of time constraints. My C-section needed to be done at short notice, so he saw me at 9pm Thursday night to explain the procedure to me, and had me booked in for 10am the next day! He visited me in hospital every day I was there (3 admissions - D&C, HG and delivery). Despite my surgeries/procedures, he doesn’t believe in medical intervention unless necessary. He never pushed them either; gave me time to decide and weigh up my options. Dr Dunn explains things in a comprehensive manner. At times his medical terminology is hard to understand for a ‘regular’ person. Sometimes it would have been easier with a simple yes or no response. Nether the less, you feel assured you are in capable hands. Anyway, I could go on and on about how great Dr Dunn is. Just do yourself a favour and call his office to see for yourself!

  Dr dunns surgical work is exceptional, he has a wealth of knowledge. In my case however i found dealing with his staff/receptionist/wife difficult, and a serious case of medical negligence. No communication, important results not followed up or given, and no explanation making an already difficult journey worse. Very disappointing.
